Dream Baby - Toilet Lock
Dream Baby® Toilet Lock will help prevent children from opening toilets. Also may be suitable for use on appliances, cupboards and cabinets. Not recommended for use on wooden toilets.
To Install:
- Locate the best position to apply the Dream Baby® Toilet Lock. Also, decide whether you would prefer to position the strap or catch to the toilet lid.
- Thoroughly clean the surface of the toilet, ensuring no residue remains. Allow to dry thoroughly.
- With the lock assembled and placed in position, peel off the backing from the adhesive tape and press the toilet lock firmly into place. Ensure that the lock is not too tight or hangs too loose.
- As with most adhesive products, strong adhesion is achieved by allowing the adhesive to set for several hours. If possible, open the lock to allow access to the toilet and allow the adhesive to set for 24 hours, or at least overnight.
To Use:
To Open - Push together the opening sections of the lock and remove the strap from the catch. Open toilet lid to access the toilet.
To Close - Close the toilet lid and push lock on strap section into catch. If toilet lock is relocated, replace the tape with strong double sided tape.
Also may be suitable for use on appliances, cupboards or cabinets.
Never pull on the strap to open the toilet lid, appliance or cupboard.
Warning:
- This strap is not to be used with appliances that generate heat.
- Do not use this product on oiled surfaces as the adhesive will not stick.
Caution: Never leave children unattended in the bathroom. There is no substitute for proper adult supervision. This product is only a deterrent. Discontinue when child is able to open it.
Note: All dangerous and toxic substances and sharp edged or pointed objects should always be kept 'high up' or in a totally inaccessible area to children
