Dream Baby - Stop Slam
Dream Baby® Stop Slam helps prevent doors slamming shut. Helps avoid jamming fingers in slaming doors. Suitable for doors opening inwards and outwards. May be used on front doors too. Suitable for use with wooden door frames. May be suitable for toy chests.
To Install:
- Locate the best position for the Dream Baby® Stop Slam on the top of the door frame. The closer to the hinged side of the door, the more the door will stay open.
- Ensure the Stop Slam is positioned level otherwise it will not allow the door to close when the door is closed gently.
- Ensure the Stop Slam main section is aligned with the edge of the door frame. Mark Guide holes.
- Screw in Stop Slam so that it is aligned with the edge of the door frame. Ensure it is securely mounted.
For toy chests, position and install Stop Slam vertically at 90o angle to the floor.
Use:
If the door slams the Stop Slam will prevent the door from closing completely. When the door is closed gently the retracting mechanism will allow the door to close.
Caution: There is no substitute for proper adult supervision. This product is only a deterrent. Discontinue when child is able to open it.
